Why HPC performance requires parallelism

Traditionally ‘HPC’ meant rarefied academic environments and classified government labs, but with the recent explosion of AI and related tools, large clusters are popping up in many enterprise datacenters and public clouds.

NFSv4.2 and pNFS enable anyone to build a high-performance, scalable parallel file system using standard hardware and software components. These standards also contain features designed to enable seamless data mobility which Hammerspace leverages.

In this this product overview, explore the benefits of NFSv4.2 in a Hammerspace Global Data Environment.

  • Hyperscale NAS – The new high-performance NAS standard

The realization that information from analytical databases, a wide range of sensors dispersed everywhere, machine learning (ML), predictive and process AI, deep machine learning (DML), generative AI large language models (LLM) and many other sources can now be leveraged to derive additional value has taught IT professionals to keep all of their data and files alive and accessible.

But there are problems with keeping all data. The storage simply can’t keep up.

At least it couldn’t until now.

Discover in this white paper how Hyperscale NAS overcomes the limitations of current NAS, object storage, and Hadoop storage models to keep up with today’s largest HPC workloads.

  • Redefine data visualization and insights with AI

To accelerate insights, engage with predictive analytics, enable 3D visualization—these are three of the many AI use cases that businesses in all industries are tapping into.

Along with delving into those use cases, this white paper explores one way that your organization can harness the power of AI: leveraging a PowerEdge server.

So, how does such a server work, and what benefits can it afford your business?

Take a look through the paper to unlock answers.
