From an outside perspective, response across IT and security operations at UK local governments to address COVID-19 appears to have been effective and successful.

However, Opinion Matters recently conducted a survey across UK public sector organizations which found:

• 43% of IT leaders believed their organization was less secure as a result of COVID-19
• 11% of local government respondents were aware of 11-15 data leaks happening in the past year
