NTT deployed a software-defined storage solution using Cloudian’s HyperStore and HPE ProLiant servers. This solution enabled the company to create a more efficient, scalable, and cost-effective backup services infrastructure and to offer customers improved service-level agreements (SLAs), in terms of both recovery-point objectives (RPOs) and recovery-time objectives (RTOs). In addition, it has the potential to open up new business opportunities such as managing medical imaging and video streaming data.
