  • HP’s Itanium “Converged Infrastructure” Feint

    In November, 2011, Hewlett-Packard announced its recovery plan for its business-critical computing line (the Itanium-based server products). This plan, dubbed “Project Odyssey”, calls for a converged infrastructure that will unite HP’s many operating environments (HP-UX, NonStop, and OpenVMS) on Itanium with Windows and Linux on x86 architecture.
